John Glenn in 1998 TODAY interview: ‘I don’t think I’m that different’

In 1998, at the age of 77, John Glenn, one of America’s Mercury Seven astronauts, returned to space. In commemoration of Glenn’s death Thursday at the age of 95, TODAY looks back at Matt Lauer’s 1998 interview with Glenn and his wife Annie shortly before Glenn became the oldest man ever to go into space.
