Japan’s Hokkaido earthquake triggers deadly landslide
A powerful earthquake shook northern Japan overnight Wednesday, destroying homes and causing mudslides. Cities across the island of Hokkaido plunged into darkness, an estimated 5 million without power Thursday morning. At least 7 people have been confirmed dead and nearly 300 injured.
