Iraq’s president ‘concerned’ about war between U.S. and Iran


Speaking with TODAY by phone on his way to the Middle East, NBC chief foreign affairs correspondent Richard Engel says that he has spoken to Barham Salih, president of Iraq, in the wake of the U.S. killing Iran’s top general in an airstrike. Salih told Engel he is concerned about a proxy way between the U.S. and Iran taking place largely on Iraqi soil.
