Immigration deal on shaky ground as government shutdown looms
President Trump is vowing there will be a wall after his Chief of Staff John Kelly reportedly told Democrats Trump’s vision of the wall had ‘evolved’ and Mexico wouldn’t pay for it. According to a democratic congressman who attended a private meeting with Kelly Wednesday, he said some of Trump’s hard-line immigration policies during the campaign were “uninformed.” NBC News national correspondent Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
