Hurricane Matthew slammed parts of Florida overnight with powerful winds and violent rain, and the storm is not over yet. Live power lines were knocked down and all flights at Miami International Airport were canceled. Despite warnings from officials to evacuate, some residents decided to stay behind in shelters. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports for TODAY from Cocoa Beach, Florida.
