The Puerto Rican government has raised the official death toll from Hurricane Maria, saying in a commissioned report from George Washington University that it now stands at 2,975. The toll is far more than previous estimates, making it the deadliest natural disaster in United States history in more than 100 years. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
