How these women are helping to break the stigma of therapy for Black women


There are many barriers to Black women finding mental health support, including the stigma of going to therapy, underrepresentation in the field of psychology and lack of access to affordable care. Some groups, like Therapy for Black Girls and Steel Smiling, are trying to change that by improving accessibility of therapy in the Black community.
