How police are using Twitter to bring attention to the 45-year-old cold case

Linda O’Keefe was 11 years old when she disappeared in July 1973 in Newport Beach, California. More than four decades later, police haven’t been able to find her killer. In an effort to solve the case, Jennifer Manzella, a spokesperson for the Newport Beach Police Department came up with the idea to tweet O’Keefe’s story. She joins Megyn Kelly TODAY alongside Court Depweg, detective sergeant, and Cindy Borgeson, O’Keefe’s sister. Since sending out the tweets, the department has received over 100 tips about the case.
