How one man’s spatula raised thousands for cancer research


Jacob Riley-Wasserman created an American-flag shaped spatula as part of a class at the Rhode Island School of Design. At 23, Riley-Wasserman was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, so he decided to use proceeds from the “Star Spangled Spatula” to fund cancer research. TODAY’s Willie Geist reports. (Run time: 4:08)
