How a mistaken identity tragedy helped two families find faith

In 2006, Whitney Cerak survived a horrific traffic accident that killed four others, but she was mistaken for Laura van Ryn, one of the fatalities who had strikingly similar looks to Whitney. For five weeks, the van Ryn family sat vigil until the realization was made that Whitney was not their daughter. The Cerak and van Ryn families sit down with TODAY’s Matt Lauer to talk about the bond of love and faith the tragedy forged between them.
