House passes debt ceiling bill, sending it to the Senate

Late Wednesday night, the House of Representatives passed the deal negotiated by President Joe Biden and Speaker Kevin McCarthy to raise the debt ceiling in a 314-117 vote. The legislation now moves to the Senate where it needs 60 votes before heading to Biden’s desk for a signature. NBC’s Ryan Nobles reports for TODAY.
