As the coronavirus epidemic continues to rage across the country, many hospitals are asking for backup. There are 40,000 to 50,000 traveling nurses in the United States at any given time, and now they are in demand more than ever before. One nursing job posting site says pay is now twice as much as pre-COVID-19 levels, with thousands of openings listed. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for Weekend TODAY.Nov. 21, 2020
