The Orlando nightclub massacre is pushing the issues of national security and gun control to the forefront of the presidential race once again. Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who called the shooting “an act of terror,” joins TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie to discuss the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. When asked about Republican rival Donald Trump’s criticism that she is not calling the shooting what it is, Clinton responded: “I think to me, radical jihadism and radical Islamism, I think they mean the same thing…I’m not going to demonize and demagogue and declare war on an entire religion.”June 13, 2016
