Hillary Clinton on war diplomacy: Talking is better than fighting

06:25

As her town hall in Hollis, New Hampshire, continues on TODAY, Hillary Clinton is asked if she’s ready for insults from Donald Trump, and says, “I’m kind of used to being insulted” – it’s what’s on voter’s minds that’s more important. Replying to an Iraq war veteran, she says she believes in diplomacy over war to resolve international conflicts. She calls for an international coalition to resolve the crisis in Syria. She also reveals her favorite book: “The Brothers Karamazov,” which she says addresses troubling ethical questions. Asked if hypothetically speaking, she would consider being vice president, she quips, “Hypothetically speaking, no.”
