Gov. Nikki Haley on flooding: ‘We’ve never seen anything like this’


Talking to TODAY’s Matt Lauer, Nikki Haley, governor of South Carolina, says, “We’re hanging in there,” and that safety is the “obvious priority” in the face of “thousand-year rains.” Haley describes efforts to restore power and urges residents to stay indoors. “This is not anything people want to get out in.” She adds, “We’re a strong state. We’ll get through this.”
