George H.W. Bush dies: Historian remembers former president’s legacy

George H.W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, died Friday at age 94 in his hometown of Houston. Jon Meacham, a presidential historian and author of the Bush biography “Destiny and Power,” joins TODAY to remember the former president’s legacy. “He was always interested in the next thing – the next adventure, the next chapter,” he says. “He very much wanted to lay the foundations for the 21st century.”
