It was 25 years ago that Geena Davis played a member of a women’s baseball team in “A League of Their Own.” Now the Oscar-winning actress visits TODAY to reminisce about the film, saying that it inspired her to take up athletics in real life, and that many girls and women tell her the same thing. “A League of Their Own” will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its release at the Bentonville Film Festival on May 2-7.
