Freedom Rider, 78, talks about his fight for equal rights


Sixty years ago, 13 activists both Black and white set out to fight injustice during the civil rights era, putting their lives on the line in the pursuit of equal rights. Among them was Charles Person, author of the new book “Buses Are a Comin’: Memoir of a Freedom Rider,” who talks to TODAY’s Craig Melvin about those historic days.
