Florida voting recount: Counties rush to meet deadline


All of Florida’s 67 counties are supposed to finish tallying votes in its election recount by 3 p.m. Thursday. The race for governor and a Senate seat are hanging in the balance. Some counties warned they might not make it. Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson, who’s trailing Republican Gov. Rick Scott in the Senate race, asked a federal judge to extend the deadline.
