Father of bat boy tragically killed: ‘He was spark plug for the team’


Kaiser Carlile, a 9-year-old bat boy, died after he was accidentally hit in the head by a player for the Liberal Bee Jays baseball team who was taking a practice swing. There has been a heartfelt outpouring of support from the team and the community in the wake of Kaiser’s tragic death. In a TODAY exclusive, his father, Chad Carlile, says, “It makes me proud to know he could touch people’s lives.” Carson Daly reports.
