Fans can pay respects to Aretha Franklin in public viewing ahead of funeral

A two-day public viewing will take place in Detroit on Aug. 28 and 29 ahead of a private funeral for music legend Aretha Franklin. On Aug. 31, the Queen of Soul will be laid to rest at the city’s Woodlawn Cemetery after services at Greater Grace Temple. NBC’s Kate Snow reports for TODAY.
