    Electricity shut-off across California leaves 800,000 in darkness

    Pacific Gas and Electric has shut off electricity to nearly 800,000 customers across California as strong winds increase the threat of wildfires sparking from the company’s equipment. Many are warned they could be in the dark for days. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports for TODAY.
