Donald Trump officially taps ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis, threatens to cancel Boeing deal


President-elect Donald Trump laid out his agenda for national security at a rally in North Carolina just hours after President Obama defended his own record. Trump also officially announced retired Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis as his choice for secretary of defense and threatened to cancel a deal with Boeing for development of the next generation of Air Force One, citing “out of control” costs.
