Donald Trump: ‘I may very well sue’ Ted Cruz
Speaking to TODAY live by phone, Republican front-runner Donald Trump says “I’ve built an incredible business” and had a successful reality program, but that the presidential campaign is “more important.” He says “we have a terribly run country” and “people are fed up” with President Obama. He defends his conservative credentials on such issues as immigration and Obamacare, but calls himself a “common-sense conservative” and says “we should not have gone into Iraq.” He says he may still sue Ted Cruz over his Canadian birth, saying he’d be doing Cruz “a favor” because the Democrats could sue him if he became the GOP candidate. He also calls Cruz “a very dishonest person.”
