Donald Trump: ‘I don’t believe’ I’m really behind Carson in Iowa polls

08:34

At a town hall in Atkinson, New Hampshire, airing live on TODAY, Republican front-runner Donald Trump questions the accuracy of polls putting Ben Carson ahead of him in Iowa, saying “I don’t believe I did fall behind” Carson. He says a tweet removed from his Twitter account critical of Carson was posted by an aide and was “not a big deal.” Reacting to comments made about him by Vice President Joe Biden, he said, “We have to stop illegal immigration.” Responding to a town hall attendee questioning his compassion, he says, “it’s not going to be about niceness. It’s going to be about competence.”
