Des Linden, first US woman to win Boston Marathon since 1985, talks to TODAY


A miserable, rainy day couldn’t dampen the spirits of the athletes who took part in the 122nd annual Boston Marathon on Monday, where Desiree Linden became the first American woman to win in more than three decades. TODAY’s Craig Melvin reports and Linden speaks to TODAY live from Boston, saying, “there was so much American pride on the line.”
