Delta Fire scorches 5,000 acres, shuts down major highway
An out-of-control wildfire in Northern California has prompted evacuations and shut down major interstates. The Delta Fire, burning in the Shasta–Trinity National Forest north of Redding, California, has scorched more than 5,000 acres. Hundreds of firefighters are working to knock down the flames.
