Death toll from Ida could go up ‘considerably,’ Louisiana governor says


The city of New Orleans was left without power after Hurricane Ida made landfall as a powerful Category 4 storm. Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards joins TODAY’s Hoda Kotb to give an update on the efforts to restore power as well as the destruction left behind. Edwards also says that as information continues to come in, he expects the death toll to go up “considerably.”
