Deadly wildfires scorch California town, thousands evacuate


Deadly, dangerous wildfires are raging in Northern and Southern California, with tens of thousands of homes threatened and mandatory evacuations underway. The fire captain of the town of Paradise, about 180 miles northeast of San Francisco, said the area has been “virtually destroyed.” NBC’s Gadi Schwartz reports for TODAY.
