Dangerous rain hits Northeast as heat wave scorches West

Heavy downpours up and down the East Coast are leading to a number of water rescues and dangerous flooding in areas including Pennsylvania, while aggressive winds in Florida are ripping roofs off homes and flattening fences. Other parts of the United States are still dealing with oppressive heat. NBC’s Catie Beck reports for TODAY from Baltimore, Maryland, while TODAY’s Al Roker gives a look at the forecast.
