Customers buy out doughnuts from shop so owner can be with sick wife
John Chan and wife Stella have run a doughnut store in Seal Beach, California, for nearly 30 years. When Stella suffered a brain aneurysm, John wanted to spend as much time as possible with her but couldn’t afford to close down the shop. So every day for the last couple weeks, loyal customers have bought out all the doughnuts from the store first thing in the morning.
