COVID-19 crisis in India worsens


An alarming surge of new CVID-19 infections in India – more than 325,000 per day – is raising new concerns. On Monday, the country reported nearly 3,000 deaths from the virus. NBC chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel reports for TODAY, and Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of Brown University’s School of Public Health, says medical supplies from other countries should help, “but this is a full-blown crisis.”
