Corpus Christi mayor: Wind caused ‘tremendous damage’ to coastal Texas town
Corpus Christi Mayor Joe McComb tells TODAY that there are “considerable” power outages in Texas as Hurricane Harvey stalls over Texas as a Category 1 hurricane. He adds that rain totals and storm surges are not as high as officials were expecting, but wind has caused a “tremendous amount of damage.”
