Dr. Ashish Jha, director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, tells TODAY “the news is good” about Oxford research into a coronavirus vaccine, but cautions that “we haven’t yet seen that the vaccine prevents infections” and “we have no longer-term safety data.” Nonetheless, he predicts “substantial progress in bringing this virus under control by some time next year.”July 21, 2020
