Anish Mahajan, chief medical officer at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, tells TODAY that a big problem there is that it takes a long time for coronavirus test results to come back – an average of two to four days. He says he is seeing “exponential” numbers of coronavirus patients, putting a strain on patients with other medical problems. He also says that “we don’t have a lot” of personal protective gear for health care workers.March 19, 2020
