Corner market in LA becomes lifeline for community


In lower income communities, access to fresh food is a major problem. Kelli Jackson has transformed Hank’s Mini Market from a humble corner store into a carefully curated shopping experience. In partnership with the L.A. Food Policy Council, Jackson worked with Sweetgreen to redesign the space, introducing healthier options to longtime customers. NBC’s Steve Patterson reports.
