First human-powered crossing of Drake Passage complete

A six-man crew captained by Fiann Paul along with first mate Colin O’Brady has completed the first human-powered crossing of Drake Passage, the treacherous water between South America and Antarctica. In just under 13 days they traveled more than 700 miles in a 29-foot boat.
