Colorful game show creator and host Chuck Barris has died at age 87. Known for creating “The Dating Game” and “The Newlywed Game” and as both host and creator of “The Gong Show,” a precursor of contemporary TV reality competitions, Barris died in his home in Palisades, New York.March 22, 2017
