Chris Watts, the Colorado man accused of killing his family, appeared in court Tuesday where he was officially charged with the premeditated murders of his pregnant wife and two young daughters. The wife’s devastated father and brother sat feet away, in tears. Police said Watts claimed he killed his wife in a fit of rage after he saw her on a baby monitor strangling their 3-year-old with the 4-year-old left sprawled on a bed. However, investigators say Watts was having an affair with a coworker. NBC’s Kristen Dahlgren reports for TODAY.Aug. 22, 2018
