Chris Harrison won’t return for next season of ‘The Bachelorette’

00:38

Chris Harrison, the host of “The Bachelor” franchise, will not be retuning for the series’ next installment, according to a statement from ABC and Warner Bros. on Friday. Former contestants Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams will co-host the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.” Harrison said he would step back from the franchise amid controversy over his defense of a current contestant’s past racially insensitive behavior.
