Cape Cod vacationers on edge amid shark sightings at beaches
Popular beaches along Cape Cod, a popular summer tourist destination in Massachusetts, have been closing due to shark sightings. One sighting was even caught on camera, with a shark just feet away from the shore. A booming population of seals have drawn large numbers of the ocean’s feared predators to the area. The sightings could putting a damper on plans to celebrate the unofficial end of summer over Labor Day weekend. NBC’s Kristen Dahlgren reports for TODAY.
