Breast cancer patient Kim Bowles says she told her doctor she wanted to “go flat,” or opt out of breast reconstruction, following her double mastectomy. However, Bowles says that when she awoke from surgery, her doctor left skin in case she changed her mind. Bowles alleges malpractice, but the Cleveland Clinic said her claims are “unfounded.” Megyn Kelly TODAY guest host Stephanie Gosk sits down with Bowles, as well as Dr. Kristi Funk, a breast cancer surgeon, and Catherine Guthrie, a fellow breast cancer patient who underwent a double mastectomy.Oct. 2, 2018
