The FAA is ordering airlines to inspect their 737-NG models after Boeing itself discovered structural cracks in the "pickle fork" assembly that connects the wings to the spine of the fuselage. Boeing says the cracks were discovered in a small number of planes undergoing modifications. In a statement, Boeing says there have been no in-flight issues with the plane.
