Bird strike forces Southwest flight to make emergency landing

A Southwest Airlines flight leaving Havana for Fort Lauderdale filled with smoke after an apparent bird strike, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing. In a separate incident, a jet passenger died after his flight experienced severe turbulence over New England.
