Bench seating for the big and small may be coming to Airbus planes

Aircraft manufacturer Airbus has filed a patent for a "reconfigurable passenger bench seat," the idea behind a "one size fits all" approach. The benches could be adjusted to accommodate larger or obese passengers, as well as small children. No word on if, or when, we might see these benches on a plane.Feb. 24, 2016
