Motorized scooters are taking over streets across the country, but not everyone is so happy about it. While the provide a way for many to get around, some see them as a nuisance in parking areas and on sidewalks, and laws haven’t been able to keep up. Protests have started in California over companies dropping thousands of scooters all over cities, with online critics vocal as well. NBC’s Gadi Schwartz reports for TODAY.
