A baby gorilla is said to be doing well after being delivered by caesarean section in a rare operation at a zoo in England. The gorilla was born early, weighing just two pounds, ten ounces. Doctors decided to perform a C-section after her mother showed signs of the potentially dangerous condition preeclampsia. The operation was performed by a gynecologist who had delivered hundreds of human babies but never a gorilla.Feb. 24, 2016
