Authorities describe the amazing rescue of Montana ‘miracle baby’

Missoula County Deputy Ross Jessop and U.S. Forest Service Officer Nick Scholz, the rescuers who saved the 5-month-old baby found buried in the woods in Montana this week, spoke to the press about the rescue. Jessop said he responded to a complaint about a disorderly man, who admitted he crashed his car and buried a baby in the woods. Jessop prepared himself for the worst, but miraculously, the infant was found alive. TODAY’s Craig Melvin reports.
