Attorney for pummeled referee calls attack ‘heinous crime’


The attorney for Robert Watts, the referee who was pummeled by two players during a Texas high school football game, is speaking out, saying Watts is under a doctor’s care after what he called a “heinous crime.” Meanwhile, some players have accused Watts of using inappropriate language.
