Commenting on Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp suing her for violating his ban on making face masks mandatory, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms tells TODAY that “this filing of a lawsuit is simply bizarre, quite frankly.” She adds: “I don’t think it’s happenstance that this lawsuit happened the day after Donald Trump visited Atlanta” and says she thinks the governor is “putting politics over people” and “has overstepped his bounds.”
